Research Interests

My work focuses on human experiences and behavior in the context of real, imaginated, and virtual environments. Thereby, the phenomena I investgate include human self-localization and the coresponding cognitive as well as affective processes. I also address questions concerning the self and embodiment. Furthermore I am very interested in research methods and traumatic stress.
