Research statement

You drive your vehicle along the green wave as you approach the next traffic light: Is it yellow or just a reflection of the sun? Should you stop, slow down or accelerate immediately? I am interested in how the brain integrates acquired statistical knowledge and ambiguous sensory information for correct perceptual decisions and the metacognitive ability to judge the accuracy of these decisions (computational level).
